About Us

Wow, you actually came to the "About Us" section of the site. I'm surprised that you would rather be reading this than posting your entries in the car blog. Well, this is what you asked for, so I'm not going to disappoint you. Ever since I was a kid, I have been very interested in cars. I have since then, increased my knowledge and become very good with recognizing certain cars and things like that. My father (now deceased, 55) was the "oldies" car kinda guy. He could point out any type of 57' Chevy or Chevelle or Corvette Stingray. (American muscle cars, mostly.) At one time, after he knew he would give in to lung cancer, he actually bought a 1974 Corvette Stingray for about $7,000! (the brakes were broken and he intended to fix them. He bought many parts and magazines but never fixed the brakes) Shortly after he died on Jan. 14 2007, my mom sold the Vette' for I don't know how much (probably less that 7,000 but I don't have a clue) Oh, and he also owned a beautiful red Honda motorcycle with red flames. Looked just like a Harley Davidson. It wasn't a dirt bike or one of those high pitched speed bikes. Oh, and just in case your wondering, this was at the beginning of the cancer and he sold it when he got to weak to hold it up. I guess he just wanted to live out his dreams before his final hours, which I regret to say, were spent in a hospital room (knocked out with medicine to kill the pain) and alone for one of the few times he was alone since being put into the hospital. Anyway, that's that. He showed me allot about older cars. My uncle, however, is the new generation car guy. He mostly goes for the newer "hot" cars like Porsche or Ferrari. Plus, he owns a new 997 Porsche 911 GT3. Wow. So I created this site to have people talk about cars, how they feel about them, if they own one, if they want to own one, if they have mods, anything they could possible talk about is exactly why I made this site. Well, aren't you glad that I gave you the option of coming to the "About Us" section to read this instead of putting it on the Home Page. I hope you enjoyed this article and please feel free to visit my other website. It's a help center where you can talk about problems you might have in everyday life or just a question you would like to ask. The link is http://www.chopsui4.webs.com/ Yes, yes I know the name is weird, but that site is way more advanced than this one. So even if you don't enjoy the site, I'm pretty sure that you'll enjoy the formatting and all the work I have done to it. Thanks! Enjoy!
